Quick and light, the K2 She'sBack women's skis will have you touring deep into the backcountry or carving tight turns at the resort. Metal laminate construction alternates layers of fiberglass and metal above and below the wood core to provide damp, accurate performance. Bioflex core combines fir and spruce to create a ski that is stable and predictable underfoot, while maintaining light and soft tips and tails. Bamboo stringer running down the center increases core strength without adding cumbersome weight. Triaxial braiding wraps an interlocking fiberglass weave around the wood core; the result is torsional stiffness, responsive turning and sensitivity. Cap construction envelops the core and internal materials with the top layer of the ski, keeping overall weight light and durability high. Progressive sidecut has different curve shapes along different parts of the ski-more aggressive in the tip, less aggressive in the tail. The progressive sidecut results in confident, quick turn initiation in hard snow and easy release in crud and powder. Adventure-series skis feature flat tails so you can easily plunge your skis into firm snow when building anchors or staking out a tent. Holes drilled in the tip and tail facilitate building a rescue sled or constructing a ski anchor. Holes come with plugs that can be easily removed with a flat head screwdriver; holes also function as attachment points for K2 skins (sold separately). Concave notch in the tail of the ski keeps non-K2-brand skins securely centered on the tail. Designed for 40% soft snow and 60% variable snow.
