MSR Mug

User Reviews

Bought this mug on the basis of three criteria: 1.

Rating: rated 3 of 5 stars
Price Paid: $12.99

Bought this mug on the basis of three criteria:

1. Convenient shape/size, without protruding handle, with sipping lid/top.

2. Insulated body of mug.

3. MSR name.

While it continues to serve its primary function well, the lid, held in place only by a friction fit, is now largely useless, not held in place at all, due to wear/lack of fit. I bought the mug this past summer, and it's not "that old" yet such that long, hard use is a legitimate reason for the failure. It's still functional, but without a secure sipping lid, its utility is, for me, distinctly diminished.
