Fast-drying, 0.5mm HydroSkin neoprene offers great durability, snag resistance, and 4-way stretch. MicroPlush(TM) quick-dry lining adds more insulation and comfort while TiCoat(TM) backing helps reflect heat back toward the body. Four-panel design gives a smooth fit; gusseted crotch preserves freedom of movement. High-back waistband prevents gapping while seated; drawcord waist closure with cordlock adds security. NRS designed its HydroSkin series for paddlers who want a little more warmth on the river without sacrificing their mobility. The Men's HydroSkin Short works great as a layer on cold river trips, and you can wear it by itself when the weather changes and the sun heats up. Its Terraprene core works exactly like conventional neoprene, but Terraprene is free of petroleum so it's a lot more comfortable. The PowerSpan exterior offers a four-way stretch to give you unrestricted mobility, and a DWR coating repels water away from the shell to help you stay dry. A ThermalPlush lining warms you up, repels moisture away from your body, and dries quickly for long-lasting comfort. NRS bonded this lining to the exterior with a titanium laminate that retains body heat for more warmth. And flatlock seams reduce bulk.
