Here's what other sites are saying:

Brazos walking sticks are individually crafted from the finest hard woods including oak, sassafras, hickory, and sweet gum. Each walking stick is handcrafted by their artisan craftsmen in Central Texas not far from the Brazos River. Most of otheir custom walking stick blanks are naturally harvested in the nearby woods of Arkansas, East Texas, western Louisiana, and the high mountain deserts of New Mexico. Before each custom stick is created, the raw wood blank is carefully inspected for hidden flaws that might affect the structural integrity of the custom wooden walking shaft. Only the raw blanks that show the highest strength are chosen for use in Brazos walking sticks. After the structural inspection, the raw wood blank is shaped on a lathe or a sander depending on the style of the stick. Once shaped and sanded the custom stick is ready for the finish. Depending on the style of stick, a clear or tinted finish is applied. The resulting finish highlights the natural beauty of the wood. PRODUCT FEATURES: Assorted Hardwood Species. Length: 55 inch Oversize item, additional shipping fee applies.
