Essential Carry-On

rated 4.5 of 5 stars I have had this bag for 10 years and I endorse Larry's entire review. My OPEC bag has been super. Sadly I lost it four weeks ago. rt Full review

Ultimate Dry Sacks

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Great bag for the price. Picked up at Walmart for $10 per 3-pack. These dry bags worked well. While I didn't get them wet, I was also unable to squeeze excess air out of them after they were sealed, so I know they were air and water tight. The only thing that kept me from giving them 5 stars was the shape of the largest one. They are all basically round bottomed bags, but the largest one was I feel too narrow and long. If they made the area of the base larger and the bag slightly smaller I think… Full review

Ultimate Dry Sacks

rated 2.5 of 5 stars These are not dry sacks in the traditional sense, but they are an economical alternative when less protection will do. Not intended for submersion and labeled as merely weatherproof they make no claim to being dry sacks other than their name. Great for organizing and protecting gear inside a pack. I wasn't looking for bags at the time, but grabbed them simply because they cost so little and I was sure… Full review

Apex Trekking Pole Set

rated 4.5 of 5 stars These are good-looking, sturdy trekking poles. They are well made and the locking levers make a satisfying click to let you know they are secure. These are a good buy for the money. I recently took these out on the Shaupeneak Ridge in New York to hike the white blazes and they held up and really gave me great support on both the up and downs. We hiked on dry, powdery dirt, rocky uphills, branchy, grassy flats and damp rocks near a waterfall.  The locking levers are easy to adjust and there was… Full review

Coffee Press

rated 5 of 5 stars Simply great! This is the simplest, most compact, best quality coffee maker I've seen. I use it several times a day and love it. The only thing i don't like is the lid's drinking spout. I drink really hot coffee, but drinking hot coffee from the lid burns my upper lip. I don't need the lid often, so not much of a problem for me! Full review
