Kula Cloth

So collectible    REI's page has a lot of enthusiastic reviews of this item, but I have not seen any on Trailspace. As a woman who has backpacked, day hiked and just plain escaped down any available trail for 50+ years,  this is a must-have. For anyone with less than ultra-marathon-capable internal plumbing, there's always been the problem of carrying enough TP for the hike and then taking it out in a somewhat sanitary manner.  This solves that problem very well.  I should mention that is… Full review

Sea to Summit Pocket Shampoo with Conditioner

Need too many leaves to wash hair. I bought this product to use on a hike to save weight. I tried it out at home. I have short hair so first tried two leaves to wash my hair. I put to leaves in my hand got them a little wet and tried to wash my hair. There was no foam and I didn't feel like it was doing anything. Next time I used 4 leaves also no suds. I would not recommend it. Better take regular soap or a bar.  Full review

RinseKit Pro 3.5 Gallon Portable Shower

The RinseKit PRO is a 3.5 gallon battery-pressurized portable shower that offers superior pressurization, capacity, and portability compared to other portable showers. It's perfect for showering at the campsite, portable hand washing, portable dishwashing, and much more. I bought a RinseKit PRO portable shower for bathing on the campsite. After I brought it camping with me, I realized it had many more uses than I initially anticipated. Its 3.5--gallon capacity meant that I had a lot of water left… Full review

Perfect Fitness Cooling Towel

I too have had a raised red painful itchy rash wherever this towel touched my neck or chest for two weeks after a 30-minute walk. Took a few hours to develop after use, so you cannot feel it happening until it is too late. Do not let this touch your skin. Full review

Foot Kinetics RunGoo

Great at preventing blisters, chafing, and hot spots for runners or hikers. I bought this product because I often get blisters between my toes when hiking and running long distances. I was training for a half marathon in the spring and had a hard time preventing blisters.  A friend of mine recommended this to me, which was recommended to her by a triathlete. It costs about 10 dollars for just 3 ounces. However, the tube seems to last awhile.  The cream itself has the consistency of whipped butter… Full review

Frogg Toggs Chilly Pad Cooling Towel

The Frogg Toggs Cooling Chilly Pad is amazing. It makes any activity during the warm summer weather more enjoyable, keeping you cool and protecting you from overheating. The Frogg Toggs Chilly Pad is amazing. I’ve taken this canoeing, backpacking, camping, and hiking. Man does this thing work! You just take the towel, dunk it in some water for a few seconds, and then boom it’s ready to go! You can put it inside of your had or rest it on your shoulders, or whatever else you find comfortable. Full review

BodyGlide Foot Glide

Another tool in your arsenal for the battle against foot blisters. Those of you who follow my reviews know, that a common issue for me is foot care. My feet are a mess... no arches, bunions, narrow heel/wide forefoot, long toes. In short, foot issues are the bane of my hiking life. In my battle against blisters, I have found this simple product to be as effective as anything I've tried. I was familiar with BodyGlide products, as I have used their non-greasy cycling balm on my cycling shorts for… Full review

Matador NanoDry Shower Towel

Very quick absorbing and drying. Cleverly designed silicon case allows you to easily transport it and let it keep drying on-the-go. As a member of another website, I was given this product in exchange for a review. I have other travel towels, but nothing this size that is this light, this packable, and this quick drying. It's a total keeper. Well, I actually forgot it at a different campground a few days later, but it's something I am happy to pay to replace. I would wake up, have a shower, lay… Full review

Matador NanoDry Shower Towel

I have used several backpacking towels over the years and they have all suffered in three ways that Matador managed to fix. They are either too small, too heavy and bulky, or not effective at drying, and some fit into all three categories. Matador solved all these problems with the NanoDry Towel. The first thing I noticed with these towels was just how light they were. When you take them out of their case you will be surprised at how nice it would be to take them backpacking. At the same time when… Full review
