Neck Gaiter

rated 5 of 5 stars Nice merino neck gaiter. Keeps my neck warm with the comfort of merino wool. Fit and comfort:  Pulls on easily over my head, stretchy enough to stay on over my nose and ears and comfortable enough to sleep in. The seams are internal and do not get in the way. Adjustability: It has the elasticity of merino wool, but no additional adjustment devices. It's two layers of knit merino wool sewn together. Water resistance: None, just a knit merino neck gaiter. Breathability and Moisture management: Great! Full review

Midweight Turtleneck

rated 5 of 5 stars Luxurious warmth!!!! WOW! I could just leave it at that but I will elaborate. I first bought the SmartWool NTS 250 bottoms, which I love, so when I saw this shirt on sale I couldn't resist. Although both the top and bottoms are NTS 250 the top is much thicker and sooooo soft. I like staying warm outdoors and this shirt has kept me just that! I wear it all winter and bring it along for all my hiking and camping endeavours in the summer as well. I usually sleep in it when I'm at higher elevations… Full review

NTS Mid 250 Bottom

rated 5 of 5 stars These are without a doubt the best long johns I have ever owned! I am 5'7", 125lbs and I bought the mediums. They fit like a glove (well literally as they are next to skin). So comfy and non restricting, you barely notice you have them on. I did a lot of research in my quest for super warm long johns and came to the conclusion that wool was going to be the warmest. I am not disappointed. The waistband is wider so they don't roll down as some other brands do. I love being outdoors but don't like… Full review

Hiking Ultra Light Mini

rated 4 of 5 stars After dismissing this sock as sub-par, I have a new found appreciation of them. They are not a great hiking sock, but they are pretty decent for running and cycling. I have own this sock for more than a year. On my first backpacking trip with it, I wrote it off as a bad purchase. The reason for this was the low cut did not work well with a light hiker (like my Merrell Moab Ventilator pictured here). Shortly into a hike, especially in wet conditions, the top of the sock is below the back of the shoe,… Full review

PhD Run Medium Mini Sock

rated 5 of 5 stars SmartWool's PhD Run (medium cushion) is hands down the best hiking sock I have ever used. After 100+ miles on the same pair, there is virtually no signs of wear or pilling. I've purchased SmartWool socks in the past and was not that impressed. They haven't held up any better than cheaper brands. For this reason, I had begun to believe that SmartWool was one of those companies that had once earned its reputation and then faded into fashion-oriented mediocrity. However, the moment I tried on the PhD… Full review
