Herman Men's Survivor

rated 0.5 of 5 stars Fourth pair model Jason. First blew a side seam within a couple of weeks. Replaced by Wal-Mart. The replacement boots as well as the following two pairs all failed with the soles splitting side to side clear through to the body. These failed within two to three months. Cost vs value is not worth the trip to Wal-Mart. Invest your money in any other product. At 56 I can easily out work this trash Save your money and buy a real pair of boots. These are no bargain. Total garbage!  Full review

Crispi Hunter GTX

rated 0.5 of 5 stars Ordered a pair online, never recieved, numeruous unanswered calls and e-mails. Got through on the phone once a couple months after ordering and was told the boot I ordered was backordered and I would be sent a more expensive pair, never recieved and no way to reach anyone at the company Never recieved product, credit card was billed promptly however! Next to impossibe to reach anyone, messages and e-mails are ignored! Full review

Herman Men's Survivor

rated 5 of 5 stars Great boots, have not had any problems with them. I have not had a problem with my camo hollow points, fit great right out of box. Bought at Walmart for $49.95 four years ago. Use them for hunting and outside work in Michigan winters. Feet stay warm but can get damp sometimes, No boot or shoe is completely waterproof, even my Rocky boots I wear for work (letter carrier). I like these boots a lot, wish I could find more. Full review

Lowa Men's Baffin Pro

rated 5 of 5 stars Excellent and durable four-season hiking boot. I like to hike in the winter and summer/fall seasons. This boot suits my needs. Over the last few years. I had used several top brand boots to accommodate my expanding foot. The Lowa Baffin Pro is by far the best all-round boot I ever had. I usually hike in the winter and summer. I never lost a step with this leather lined beauty. Just within the last year alone I hiked the Camino de Santiago twice, that is around 1800 km in total. The boot crossed… Full review

Rugged Outback Waterproof Hikers

rated 0.5 of 5 stars Heel collapsed in less then two months, no support. Soles wear a lot faster then they should, will never buy these again. In the fifteen years I drove truck this is the first time I've had any issues with the Rugged Outback brand. Have always liked this brand, but was sadly disappointed by these boots. Full review

La Sportiva Men's Omega GTX

rated 5 of 5 stars Comfortable out of the box. I think the wide toe box is paramount for me. To me it seems most European boots and approach shoes have a narrow toe box that squeezes my toes. I bought these boots to replace a pairs of all leather Lowa BP boots that were stiffer at the upper boot and caused some discomfort in the long period of breaking-in. I always replace the factory footbed with a high-arch sport footbed. While I have not worn them for more then a couple hours in the Colorado winter, they have keep… Full review

Fabiano Trionic

rated 5 of 5 stars Best boots I've ever owned. Got my Fabianos mail-ordered to me on the A.T. from Campmor during my thru-hike in '89. No break in. Put them on at the base of Mt. Moosilauke and no blisters. Still have them, as does my wife. Got another pair off eBay for my son who loves them as well. Just got finished Sno-Sealing all three pairs.  Full review

Scarpa Attack

rated 5 of 5 stars I have been utilizing the Scarpa Attack for over 20 years. They are lightweight, very durable, and comfortable. A good all round boot for the UK's climate, lower level. It's time to put them into retirement as the leather is starting to crack around the sides, been applying lots of wax. Sorry to see them go. Let's see what Scarpa has in their place as this design is now discontinued. The fit of the shoe was good for me, as I have wide feet. The lacing system is very easy to adjust. Breaking in time… Full review

Herman Men's Survivor

rated 0.5 of 5 stars These are the worst boots ever. I paid top dollar for a pair and went to a junkyard to pull an engine. Fell apart and had to strap wires and seat belt parts to hold it together. With the straps holding it together, they have held up for a year now. Junkyard guy was so amused at my boots he gave me the old straps to keep my Frankenstein shoes together. I am stubborn and want my money out of these boots. I did that in less than an hour. The Japanese parts are lasting much longer. Horrible fit Terrible… Full review
