Here's what other sites are saying:

BlueWater II Plus(TM) rope is a classic and economical choice for rappelling, rescue and caving. Especially useful in applications where dynamic "bounce" is unwanted: jumaring, rappelling and hauling. Kernmantle design matches a static nylon core (kern) with an abrasion-resistant braided polyester sheath (mantle) for durability. Double twist cabled core and sheath strands help combat twisting while hanging on the rope. Sheath design permits easier tying and untying of knots than some other static lines. Buy it by the foot, as much or as little as you need.

Its design of double twist cabled sheath strands as well as double twist cabled core strands make it the best all around choice in static/ low elongation ropes. If you require NFPA certified ropes take a look at the SafeLine and ProTac series of ropes. We do not recommend this diameter for rappelling or life support applications. Specifications: Diameter: 11.2mm / 7/16 inch Tensile Strength: 7420 lbf. Working Load Limit (WLL): 494 lbs. Weight Per 100 Feet: 5.3 lbs.
