Tensor Insulated 25

rated 4 of 5 stars Very comfortable for sleepers who roll or side sleep, and super lightweight and compact. So I have had the Tensor for a month now and had it out a variety of times in mostly colder temperature weather.  Features that I find work very well are the textured design or lack thereof. The mostly flat surface with dimples removes low or dipping points in the pad and creates a consistent feel under you. I felt well supported no matter what sleeping position I was in. The 25" version was a deal maker for… Full review

Cosmo Air

rated 4 of 5 stars It's a NEMO product, works well, lasts forever. Deflates and rolls up into its bag, which is the size of a water bottle. Use in all-weather conditions. It's warm and mostly comfortable. Definitely recommend this NEMO product. The Cosmo air sleeping pad, packs small, is relatively lightweight, and comes with its own stuff sack/carry bag. The sleeping pad is made of some very tough material. I don't have to worry about punctures when I use it. My only complaint would be the direction of the baffles. Full review

Fillo Elite Ultralite

rated 3 of 5 stars Decent pillow at a competitive price. Not thick enough for me. After many years of backpacking with only a stuff sack for a pillow, I decided to pick up one for myself and my girlfriend. I went with the Nemo Fillo Elite. It's a good pillow that is holding up well so far, 11 nights in the field. It weighs in at 3 ounces on my scale and packs down small enough to basically be unnoticeable in a pack. I tested the pillow while at the store and it seemed like it would work well, as have many pieces of… Full review

Hornet 2P

rated 4 of 5 stars Good, but a few drawbacks. Nice tent, I just used it for a week in the White Clouds Wilderness in Idaho. It works well but there is a learning curve to the setup. It is cramped for two people but that's the price you pay for weight reduction. Speaking of that, the true trail weight of the tent including the footprint (which you must use), all the stuff sacks for poles, stakes, and fly is 2 pounds 11.7 ounces measured on an Ohaus lab-grade triple beam balance accurate to half a gram. As a comparison,… Full review

Losi 3P

rated 4 of 5 stars It's immediately obvious that they have given a lot of thought into usability. It can withstand heavy rain but not extreme winds. It comes with lifetime warranty, but keep in mind that the warranty doesn't cover everything. I've used this tent a number of times during five years in different environments. Right from the beginning it was clear that this is a really well designed tent in terms of usability and features. Now I have also a pretty good picture of its durability. They've updated the design… Full review
