From Backcountry.com:
"The new Battle Mountain Sleeping Bag from Big Agnes features both 600-fill down and bamboo synthetic insulation to keep you toasty at base camp. You know about down, a lightweight insulation that keeps you warm by not allowing your body heat to escape. To make bamboo synthetic, an eco-friendly and renewable insulation, bamboo is burned at 1,500 degrees Fahrenheit to create a charcoal that is spun into a synthetic fiber. The result of combining these two insulation types in the Battle Mountain is a cold-weather sleeping bag with a rating of negative 15 degrees Fahrenheit. This sleeping bag also features Big Agnes' integrated pad sleeve slide your sleeping pad into the bag's bottom to provide ground insulation. Because it has its own compartment, your pad won't slide around, and you won't wake up lying next to it. Buy Big Agnes' 20-inch rectangular pad to go with your Battle Mountain."
From REI:
"Bag will zip to another Big Agnes bag with a 70-inch zipper on the opposite side. Bamboo charcoal synthetic insulation is an eco-friendly, renewable resource derived from burning bamboo to create a charcoal that is spun into a fiber. Battle the extreme cold with this Big Agnes sleeping bag and you'll be warm and cozy all night long. Built-in pillow sleeve lets you stuff a jacket or a backcountry pillow inside. Continuous oversize draft wedge insulates the connection between bag and pad to prevent cold air from entering and warm air escaping. Contoured collar at the top of the bag seals around the neck to further prevent warm air from escaping and cold air from entering. Every Big Agnes sleeping bag requires a pad to provide the necessary insulation on the bottom; integrated pad sleeve fits a 20-inch wide pad. Includes a nylon stuff sack and a large storage bag. Interior fabric loops secure a sleeping bag liner; liner sold separately. Large draft tube located behind the zipper prevents warm air from escaping and cold air from entering. Rectangular shape offers room in the shoulders and footbox for unrestricted comfort. Ripstop nylon shell, with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) surface treatment sheds water; soft, breathable nylon lining. Two-way, full-length, locking zipper with big, easy-to-grab zipper pull. Utilizes 600-fill goose down in the top portion of the bag and bamboo charcoal synthetic fill on the bottom portion for cold-weather comfort."
