Exchange-A-Blade Saw

rated 0.5 of 5 stars Handle started falling apart almost immediately. Lock button pops out of place. Piece of junk! Spend your money on something else. Handle started falling apart almost immediately. Didn't last an hour trimming less than 3-inch diameter branches. Lock button pops out of place. Piece of junk! Spend your money on something else. Sliding Saw

rated 5 of 5 stars It weighs almost nothing, fits almost anywhere, and cuts almost anything (wooden). Worth its weight in gold. I've owned the Gerber Sliding Saw for a few years now, and I completely love it. I've broken a hefty inch or so off the tip of the blade from it getting snagged and kinking a few times, but most of it is still there and works like a champ. I've learned to focus more on the pulling action of the saw than the pushing, to avoid snagging and breaking more of the blade. I wouldn't call it brittle… Full review

Mini Covert FAST

rated 5 of 5 stars As a modern version of the fixed blade Fairburn knife of WW II, it is an excellent tactical knife. It may not be viewed well in NJ and other "non-stiletto" states, however. As a folder, it is well made and often used by the military. This is not a toy. This is a tactical combat knife with a real backstory. Those who remember WW II and the fixed blade version of the tiny stiletto designed for the military recognize this as its modern cousin. It is a durable blade. Most users strop their blades, but… Full review

Big Rock Camp Knife

rated 4 of 5 stars The Big Rock Camp Knife is a great general-purpose fixed-blade camp knife. While it does use cheaper materials, it is relatively inexpensive and can handle years of abuse. To be honest, I can't remember when I originally picked up this knife. This is one of those items that has been in my pack for years and has somehow managed to survive  MATERIALS The blade on the Big Rock Camp Knife uses 440A stainless steel (.65% - .75% carbon) instead of a high carbon stainless steel like you'll find in more… Full review

Obsidian

rated 5 of 5 stars I like this knife for a number of reasons. Notably it has a double lock mechanism so it will never shut on my fingers. The compact size means it doesn’t take up valuable space and it weighs very little – 124 gms. The open design allows dirt and grit to fall through and not jam it up. The blade is 7cm or 2.75” in the old scale, the steel holds an edge well and cuts everything I've needed to date — opening dehydrated meal packets, cutting rope, fishing line and fruit. Additionally, there is… Full review
