Dwayne, this one looks very dark on my monitor (a calibrated Apple Display).  In fact it's too dark to make out much of any detail.  I opened it up in Photoshop CS6 and played with it a bit - there the effect is interesting - the rays of light give the impression of a photo of a rippled sheet of paper, kinda neat.  oh, there's the bird too in the upper left :).

Are you working with a calibrated display?  Did you intend for the image to be dark except for the bird?

White bird (gull?), over water with small waves, reflected light trails (stars?) and reflected images of bird and lights across the way.. Was this a time exposure with the bird caught with a flash?

Many thanks for the comments everyone ! Just having a little

fun with this one by breaking the subject placement rule in photography.

That is why the photo looks so off and out of place lol. The bird

is a swallow. The white streaks (motion blur) are rain drops hitting the

pond water while I am planning (following) the birds flight.

I use 27" widescreen LG for editing, at last check the cal was

ok, not for web but for photo lab.

Take care,

Dwayne Oakes
