Wuru Merino Lightweight Hoodie
Wuru's Lightweight Hoodie brings their Nuyarn performance wool, a merino nylon blend, into a hooded base layer. Worn alone it has a UPF rating of 40, but is super comfortable paired with other layers in the cold. The hood provides bonus protection from bugs or snow. True four-season gear. . The Wuru Lightweight Hoodie is made with an eye for warmer weather use as a trail shirt, but when the chance came up to test it this winter I was eager to see how it did as a base layer. As you can see from… Full review

Arctic Lynx Maternity Activewear Midweight T-shirt
This shirt is super flattering, comfortable, functional, and perfect for all types of physical activity throughout pregnancy. Kora Yardang Jersey
Kora’s Yardang jersey is a warm wool base layer made from a blend of 70% merino and 30% yak wool. The knit is very smooth and comfortable, and the shirt has a fairly long half-zip. Outdoor Research Baritone Quarter Zip
This shirt is a super soft, warm, stretchy quarter-zip layer that's perfect for wear around the house or in camp on a cool fall day. I wear mine when I'm working remotely or to and from adventures, but for big days in the mountains or on the trail, I reach for something else. This is a good representation of the color...The other photos are a little washed out The Baritone quarter-zip is a heavy-weight baselayer or a lightweight mid-layer designed to be stretchy and soft for ease of movement and… Full review

Purple Rain Adventure Dress
A Purple Rain Adventure Dress is a nearly perfect hiking garment, especially for hot, muggy, and shaded conditions such as those found on the Appalachian Trail. I wore mine continuously for my AT thru-hike. I prized it for its supreme ventilation, simplicity, functionality, durability, comfort, and quick-drying materials. The side-pockets were perfect for carrying my phone, snacks, toiletries, and a myriad of other things. I never thought I'd find a more comfortable piece of clothing than a Purple… Full review

Patagonia Capilene Cool Daily Graphic Shirt
One of my recent purchases that I wish I'd bought two of them. Not sure where to start. I've used this outside, inside, all around in the past two months since the REI sale. I love it so much that I'm sure at some point my wife will ask why I am wearing it yet again. In this summer's heat it has been my go-to shirt if it's not in the laundry. The ability to shed odor has been good because I've had a couple of days of being outdoors where I didn't get to change before doing other stuff and I didn't… Full review

Patagonia Sunshade Technical Hoody
The Patagonia Sunshade Technical Hoody is designed to be used in hot and humid conditions, has a light airy design, and also offers SPF 50 sun protection. Overall I’ve found the Patagonia Sunshade Technical Hoody to be similar in performance to other sun shirts that I own. The fabric has a nice comfortable feel and is made from 100% polyester, of which 68% is recycled. The fit of the hoody from my experience is different than other Patagonia products and runs very large. Overall this is a nice… Full review

Icebreaker Tech Lite Short Sleeve Crewe
This is an 87% merino wool and 13% nylon shirt. This is a good wicking shirt and light baselayer shirt. It has the feel of nylon, but also has the properties of wool, and it lasts. When these shirts came out they were said to be too light for wear and tear... It weighs 4.5 ounces. This is a technical shirt that we're discussing, a soft wool wrapped around a nylon core to wick the sweat and clammy feeling away from the skin. The antibacterial properties of wool help in relation to the body creating… Full review

Smart design, adjusts to changing temps: Hood up for cold mornings, down as the sun rises and activity level increases. Breathable wool is naturally odor-resistant, can be used longer between washings if traveling . Durable, functional, stylish and well-made. Recommended for active/exercise wear, travel, and layering. Found the original design of this jacket at an excellent price several years ago, on sale at a local outdoor specialty retailer. I bought it primarily with travel in mind. I also liked… Full review
