Last year I bought a car for the first time in 30 years. It is a used Lexus sedan, and very comfortable after all of those trucks. It is the anti-truck.  It warms up really fast on those cold mornings and has heated seats. Great stereo and gets around 29 mpg on road trips.

Ppine, I like  your vehicle performance priorities; easy to maintain is a plus, too.

Right Ed. I decided to be part of the winning team and chose a comfortable car with the best record of holding up with minimal maintenance. A Lexus really is the opposite of a pick up.

I went to Palm Springs recently and drove my Dad around in his Lexus 430 SC. I got spoiled by the V-8 and great handling of the two seater. One of these days I might upgrade to a Sport F model.
