This hiker's story scares me because she sounds poorly prepared for solo adventuring in those conditions, but this dog is living the dream.

Many people have no business in the Alaskan bush solo. 

I say that with some conviction. 

Glad she was rescued. 

Just remember that Alaska wants to kill you.

I didn't post to talk about her man. Did you see what that dog was doing with his life? That is the story here! He just wanders around the forest and hangs out with people passing through. Sure he has to save a few, but most of the time he's just enjoying the trail with new friends. Then he heads home to rest up before heading back out again.

Like I said, he is living the dream!
