I can't seem to tighten the primus fuel bottle for the Omnifue stove. This is the red fuel bottle. I tried many ways to do it without success. I am so frustrated.

I google for solutions online but there is no fix either on youtube or anywhere.

Can someone help me out?

I got a rare Optimus 11 Explorer stove a few years ago which came with a small green fuel bottle with the child resistant cap.  The bottle and pump had pliers or something mark them up.  I had trouble getting the cap out.  I noticed the bottle was made cheaply as the threads were actually an insert, pressed in place, and were turning with the cap?  See if yours is the same.  I bought a larger bottle as the small one was just that, small.   Used JB Weld on the old bottle, but still set it aside.
