Advice on a light double stitched boot?

After some years of buying the cheaper goretex/plastic boots Im ready to invest in a really good boot... Leather, double stitched, replaceable soles etc.

But, as Im not a heavy mountain trekker or climber but more of a general mid-level all terrain hiker (female), I'm looking for something that wont be too heavy.

So far I have looked at:

Hanwag Grunten (Lady)

Galibier Super Touring/Rando

Merrell Wilderness

Any advice on these or others similar for my needs???

$300 is about the max spend.

Otherwise theres also the Danner mountain light - but thats got a goretex liner...?

Any help on this would be really appreciated. TA!
