Members like John are what make the Trailspace community a positive place. He always has something helpful to contribute and is a pleasure to learn from.

However, I wonder if he should do a better job making the Maine outdoors look less attractive (nothing to see here, folks...). Just kidding!

Thanks, John! Enjoy your next trip solo or with the family and wherever it takes you.

Regrettably I am home from my trip a bit early due to an issue with my hip. Thought I'd play it safe rather than risk my leg falling off on top of a mountain. Still one of the best hikes I've ever been on with lots of great views and some really nice people along the way.

Thanks to all for the kind words. The people are really what makes Trailspace a great place to hang out; serious enough about gear without taking themselves too seriously is how I describe it when preaching to the folks I meet on trail. I appreciate the technical detail that many of you bring to your reviews, but more importantly the human aspects of how you use the things you take out on your adventures.

You folks keep doing what you do! I'm loading up to take the girls out camping in the rain tomorrow :)

 Billie,

LS has a bear proof tent so he's good to go on that one. :)
