I have a Canadian Military Rucksack frame from the really old packs 50/60's maybe? Certainly pre pattern 82 anyhow. The bag has long since deteriorated and I do  not have all the straps.

I would like to make a new sack and set of straps for it so I am wondering what is out there for sewing plans that made a good pack. Online resources?

Of course I will also be googling too but if you know of anything that provided good results please let me know.

Thanks

Tyler

Try a local seamstress.  I recently had my old bicycle panniers repaired by a friend who does that sort of thing.

Haha! Mom told me she needed a sewing pattern for the original bag in  order to remake it; and yes I call my seamstress Mom lol. The bag is long since gone so we cannot reverse engineer it. I found some plans so far that might work, will have to mock them up with paper and see how it might fit on the frame.
