Jandd is a California-based company with a website that looks like it hasn't been updated since 1999. It looks like they use quality materials. 500d Cordura across the board. Made in Mexico, I think.

Besides that, I can't find much info. Pretty much no chatter about them online. I was looking at their daypacks at first, but their multi-day packs look interesting and very, very old school. The Goliath pack apparently expands to 8900 cubic inches! I'm not looking for something that big, but I like the idea of well built products that last.

Anyone have experience with Jandd stuff?

Many years ago in the 80s I used Jandd panniers for bicycle touring. They were very well made, but I didn't know they made backpacks?

I've had a couple of small bike bags by Jandd as well as a travel backpack.  Wells made products, probably better known for bike bags than backpacks.  Nothing special sticks out in my mind, but solid and well designed.
