My daughter and I nearing our weekend destination...Dobbs Camp. Tough hike but she's still smiling :)

That photo is especially touching to me after this weekend of HS gaduation as my kids leave the nest this year. I hope you had a wonderful time and relish these moments that seem to go by too fast. Looks like she had a great time with dad and overcame a challenging trail.

Great smile on her face. We've done Acadia two weekends in a row and our 4 y/o bagged her first official (525') peak yesterday then bragged about it to everyone she met on the way down. It is just so nice to see kids having a good time out in the sunshine and fresh air. Good job on getting yours out there!!

Thanks! Yeah, this was the hardest trail she's done so far.

The trail starts at 5500 feet then climbs to around 7300 feet.  From there, you descend 300 feet down then climb back up around 400 feet...then descend one last time about 200 feet.  A total of 5.7 miles from TH to Camp...with this much elevation, it is a butt-kicker for sure.

My little girl and I at camp :)

Yes she is! She's definitely a lot stronger than I was when I was her proud of her :)
