Great background. How long were you out there?

Three days for Cherry Creek and over to Kibbie Lake. Spent several more days in other areas nearby and just getting back today. A few more photos...

Cherry Creek is a world-class whitewater kayaking chute, though we were there for the granite, views and seclusion.

Fantastic shots...being added to my really long list of spots to go.  I may not get to all of them but don't like to forget just in case!

We wanted to start from the Shingle Spring trailhead but the road to it was closed (and for no apparent reason). So we started at the Lake Eleanor trailhead, just a little past crossing the Cherry Creek dam. Added about 2.5 miles and 1,400 ft additional climb for day 1.
