After 859 days, thousands of miles and "50,000 mosquito bites," Ed Stafford became the first man known to have walked the entire length of the Amazon river when the waves of the Atlantic Ocean lapped.

That's cool!

I'm willing to bet that after he recovers, he will get the urge to go do some other long trek. It's the 'getting there' that is so much fun for me, once I rest up I'm planning another trip. Heck I've planned (thought about really) my next trip in the truck on the way back from a trip.

Two years of mosquitoes, man that would bite.
