The Funk Bag is a medium-size duffel bag with ventilated top so damp gear doesn't get stinky in a sealed bag. It's tough and well-constructed with excellent straps. Terrific for carrying paddling gear, such as a wetsuit or several smaller pieces like neoprene gloves and boots. The waterproof bottom is a plus. The Funk Bag is a surprising design that really works. It looks like a medium-size duffle bag. The lower half is waterproof PVC, much like a well-made dry bag. The upper half is a tough PVC… Full review
This 13-foot folding kayak has a combination of metal frame and inflatable support. It's light to carry and it's sporty to paddle. Easy to transport by bus or small car or carrying, the AirFusion is an environmentally-sensible choice. The tough construction lasts for years of use. I've tried most of the different kayak models made by Advanced Elements, and other brands as well. The AirFusion is a particular treat to paddle! It's excellent for recreational paddling on flat water and day trips. I… Full review
When you are looking for that extra little push during a long day on the water the Advance Elements Rapid Up Sail provides. Having attached this to both a single and tandem kayak, the Rapid Up Sail can produce enjoyable speed with favorable winds. Over the years I have seen some pretty elaborate and expensive canoe/sail setups, even on kayaks...but that's not what I was looking… Full review
This is a sturdy and reliable paddle that takes apart into four pieces, so it fits well into the bag of a folding or inflatable kayak. The price is good. I've used it for three years of recreational flatwater paddling. The Touring paddle has become my preferred paddle, after experience with plenty of two-piece paddles, and two other four-piece paddles. I've used it for over three years. I initially tried it because it is an Advanced Elements paddle, and I am a big fan of their folding inflatable… Full review
This is the most affordable kayak paddle I've found that can be taken apart into four parts. It is great for using with folding or inflatable kayaks, as it is packable and portable and weighs about 24 ounces. The slim metal shaft suits small hands. I have not used it for whitewater or challenging conditions. Kayakers need spare paddles. I chose two of these Ultralite Pack Paddles to go with the Lagoon inflatable kayak given to me a year and a half ago, by the manufacturer. One I keep as a lightweight… Full review
