Bought this tent from REI mainly based on price and positive reviews. I have used it several times with very good results.
Camping at Everglades National Park and a storm came through during the night. Winds at 40 mph and 3 inches of rain and I stayed nice and dry. Water pooled between the footprint and the tent but never migrated through. I have bought several more ALPS mountaineering products based on the quality for price paid of this tent.

This tent is the same as the Taurus model--just a different name. Made for REI as a "special purchase".
