I have mixed feelings about this jacket, love it and hate it.

Let me start with the negatives:
-Thin ... no lining.
-Warmth factor is almost 0
-Not windproof, especially at the lower sleeved and shoulders where there is Schoeller instead of ripstop nylon.
-Surprisingly not very breathable...I got pretty clammy after a short run.
- Not very water resistant. shoulders soak up water.
-The reflective chest logo is not embroidered but silkscreened. I feel it may peel off with use.
-No handwarmer pockets. just 2 chest pockets.
-Cuff design is a little simplisticlly wierd.

Now for the positives.
-Beautifully stitched. Perfect.
-Very well designed...cool factor is an A+
-Stretchy shoulders, elbows and cuffs.
-Only 11 oz in weight. Rolls down to nothing.
-Reverse coil hidden zippers in chest pockets. Will not snag.
-Well designed hidden drawcords at bottom.
-Soft collar.
-Made in Canada ...not the made in China junk
-All in all a beautiful minimalist wind jacket.
-Jacket screams Quality !
-Did I mention it was great looking ?

I would give this jacket a 5+ if it had
-lining (like the Kalabatic)
-handwarmer pockets.

I have seen the later Chinese made Kalabatic jacket and I hated it. One look at the stitching tells you all.
