Founded in 2008, BlackStrap makes facemask, baselayers, and UV protection for snowsports, fishing, and outdoor recreation. Its products are made in America with domestic textiles.
Through its Waste-Zero initiative, BlackStrap focuses on the environmental impacts associated with textile milling of fabric and the physical manufacturing of products. Through mindful product development they minimize the waste fabric that would otherwise wind up on the cutting room floor and design products that turn 90 percent of those remnants into innovative products.
