Hillwalker II GTX

rated 4 of 5 stars A classically styled full leather mid cut hiking boot from English brand Brasher. Well constructed, and extremely comfortable right out of the box. Features include Gore-tex lining, and Brasher's own outsole with fairly aggressive treads with good slip resistance. According to Brasher: USAGE: A classic leather hillwalking boot ideal for hill and valley walking on well defined paths and trails. (I strongly disagree with the imposed limitations, see below) UPPER: 1.6mm-1.8mm full grain leather. Memory… Full review

Superlite GTX

rated 1.5 of 5 stars FOR SALE. 1 PAIR OF THESE SUPERLITES. These need to be broken in or you'll wreck your heels. I wore mine in Paris for a weekend of walking and I couldn't wait to get out of them. I haven't worn them much since. For the expense I expected more as I already owned a pair of TOWA from Brasher which I have lived in every day. rated 4.5 of 5 stars A great pair of boots. Super comfortable straight from the box, I scarcely needed to break them in and after several, multi-hour walks including on a glacier in Switzerland, they never gave me a moment's trouble. Also felt fairly light on the foot. No rubbing or anything, recommend them. Full review

Superlite GTX

rated 5 of 5 stars Really excellent boots! I put these on and spent 4 days hill walking in them immediately with no problems. Update: July 26, 2008 I wrote a review of these boots when they were still very new to me, and they are still excellent. I wear them at least a couple times a week, and they are comfortable, waterproof,… Full review

rated 5 of 5 stars My previous walking boots were like torture. My husband was fed up with stopping to adhere plasters and herded me into the car to buy a pair that would stop the pain! How wonderful these boots are I cannot tell you. They are lightweight, comfortable and stylish. It's like walking in slippers! Full review
