The lighter-weight version of the Canada Goose Bunny Bunting, the Pup Bunting, shares all of the important features of its heavier sibling with reduced weight and the added benefit of a zipper that allows you to split the legs to make travel easier. The outer layer of the Pup Bunting is a water-resistant ripstop nylon. It's a soft-to-the-touch shell fabric designed to reduce skin irritation. The fabric is coated with a washer-safe water-resistant treatment to hold the elements at bay; the jacket is lined with the same smooth, durable nylon fabric that's soft to the touch and won't cause irritation, even if it contacts bare skin. The bunting is also easily washed--simply machine wash cold in a front-load machine, then tumble dry on low heat. Of course, the real story is the insulation. Canada Goose uses high-quality 625-fill white duck down. Down is extremely lightweight and packable, and locks in warmth as well as any insulation on the market. Canada Goose also added a zipper that converts it from a bag to a split-leg style to make traveling in a car seat or carrier more convenient. Reflective piping on the back of the hood makes your child more visible, and a goose I. D. hand-me-down label on the interior make the bunting easily identifiable. For added comfort, Canada Goose included recessed stretch cuff bindings to seal out drafts and a soft brushed tricot lining behind the front zipper storm flap.
