rated 4 of 5 stars I used the Coast FL75R on my thru hike of the Continental Divide Trail last year. It's an extremely bright headlamp and its wide to narrow beam focusing sets it apart. It’s not perfect but it’s pretty damn good... Modes The FL75R has two buttons, the left button as seen in this picture actuates the main lamp and the right button turns on the red light. One click of the left button activates High Beam (530 lumens), another click switches to Medium (Unlisted) and one more for Low (65 lumens) then… Full review

Micro Pliers

rated 5 of 5 stars Small pocket sized multi-tool with pliers. It has many features of larger, heavier multi-tools but in a small package that you will carry every day and find yourself using on many of those days. This tiny micro-plier will find a home in your pocket unlike the big multi-tools at home in a drawer. The scissors, file, small knife blade and screwdrivers seem like a bonus to a very useful pair of pliers. Although I no longer live in the Arizona desert I would have loved to have had it to pull out cactus… Full review

rated 5 of 5 stars Range is 750 ft at high beam output, 10-15 ft wide area focus for inside room. Three-way adjustable switch with maximum 360 lumens. Fully adjustable slide focus with just the movement of your thumb. Lockable focus position. Ideal for use with emergency situations, easily carried in pocket. Grips well when used for personal defense handgun spotting. Solid aluminum construction with lanyard loop slot. Lengthy battery life due to the low, medium, and high settings. Not waterproof, but is definitely… Full review

HL4 Dual Color LED Headlamp

rated 5 of 5 stars Don't think these lamps are available anymore, but if you can get one they are fantastic. BRIGHT, adjustable well designed. This lamp is bright. Dimming for reading and not blinding other campers. Fairly good battery life. Have used this for years and will continue until I lose it or break it. Full review

Micro Headlamp

rated 5 of 5 stars This is the simplest headlamp to use just like Campmor says. It's on or off. I love that. No blinking or flashing. It is very bright. At the Mashpicong shelter on the AT in NJ I could illuminate the woods with the light and they are about 100 yards away. Very powerful. The only drawback is that it can easily turn on in your pack but the battery lasts so long I don't think it is a problem. It is also very light and inexpensive. It's my favorite headlamp now.
