Great product ! I love that I can silence it when I want to. There are areas that I hike in that I know bears are so I make noise going through area.

Bear bell on wrist.
I keep it on my poles all the time.
I shook the bear bell a few times and blew my whistle and he looked at me and left so I could continue on the trail safely.
