I noticed that this is listed as a closeout. Sorry to hear it. Mine is another color than the one pictured, I never wear a dark color jacket in the outdoors.

I have owned this jacket for 4 or 5 years.  Sine owning it I now use it in winter as my go-to jacket. When I first tried it on in the store; the pockets and give under the arms hooked me.  I paid what I thought was to much, I was wrong.

First it has a breathable material that works better than the jacket I ordered from LL Bean. Many times I have used it in rain, sleet, and trekking around in snow. The wrist closes up tight with staps that helps in keeping cold air out. The pockets have flaps, which some consider only for looks. But they are useful for keeping water and wind out.  It makes things warmer, and helps with snags, believe it or not.

I found out first hand while wearing it fishing from a pier in the Carolina's I was amazed at how much it broke the wind as well, double lined, it was a life saver. It is also repells water quite well.  Something that is over looked by many in my area.  Others that tried it have come back with the same comments, it is really warm, stops the wind, water runs right off, on and on.

The lining was not my favorite at first. It has proven well and has held up nicely. Many jackets fail in this area first.

Columbia has become a name I look for now when I need more clothing. To bad to see it go. If you can find one online you might want to take it. I found mine while in another state looking for other gear. I have not been disappointed in any way with it.
