photo: Columbia Pressure Drop Parka component (3-in-1) jacket

It is a nice jacket for hiking or snowshoeing, but I ordered it thinking that it would do well on the slopes for snowboarding. I was wrong. It rides up if you tighten the waist gaiter, making it pretty much useless.

Overall, the jacket restricts your range of motion greatly. I made a mistake of ordering this jacket for this purpose, I just thought that because they (Columbia) make riding jackets for men that work that the women's jackets would also work. This is my second Columbia jacket that I've attempted to use on the slopes without success... time for me to switch brands.

I also find the fit to be a little less than flattering. The arms are really wide and it kind of sticks out at the stomach for me, probably because I don't have a large chest... The colors are very nice though, the one I have is not offered here, but it's olive green with red lining. Very flattering color.
