Danner Caprine Low

rated 2 of 5 stars
photo: Danner Caprine Low trail shoe

These shoes just don't fit correctly. Not off a little bit, it's like both of my feet suddenly rotated out by 5 degrees.

Pros

  • The mesh upper is nice for hot days.

Cons

  • Fit, and lace bit at the first lace set.

My heel doesn't sit in like it should and the shoe doesn't feel as though it aligns with either foot. This shoe looks really nice, and the sole is structurally sound. But the whole package just feels like I'm wearing flip-flops.

This review is written after 4 weeks of wear, averaging three days a week. I think 120 hours is enough to break a shoe in.

Background

My first pair of Danners. They wouldn't be around as long as they have if they didn't make a great product. Purchased directly and submitted feedback on the "Contact Us" section of the web page. No response after 4 days.
