It's a HAT so this is a SHORT review.

These are really good hats for one reason. Their weight is perfect for using in combination with a hood system. I use a stretchy fleece with a hood for a first layer, and various shell hoods if I need them or a belay jacket hood for an outer layer. Trying to do this with heavier hats doesn't work as well, so this is a good hat if you like to manage temperature with headwear. Nice fleece liner band inside the hat also. And, the weight is very good for using under a climbing helmet.

WHY a 4 not a 5? Remember, it's a HAT! Well, the colors are dull, dull, dull. You can either get charcoal or military brown. Boring. The women's hats have a little better color selection, but not much. Of course, when you put your hood up or put the hat under a helmet, you can't see it anyway.
