The Star 2+ Tent has been discontinued. If you're looking for something new, check out the best three-season tents for 2020.
Historic Range: $239.00-$349.00
This tent has a few good thing about it but unfortunately you can easily get all of those things and more with a different design. To start this tent has lots of cubic space with vertical walls, the two doors and vestibules are very convenient. On the downside the floorspace is a little cramped because it's too narrow, but it is long enough. The best part of this tent is the ease of setup, it's easier than a dome tent! Although I stated you can get more for your money with a different tent it doesn't mean that this tent isn't a good choice.

This tent is a roomy 2-person freestanding tent. The pole setup provides real headroom for both tenters. The doors in the rainfly (new since this was called the NorthStar) are very awkward and the fly is not very taut. It's heavy for backpacking unless you are splitting the load.
