I won these gloves as a door prize in a fatbike race and decided to try them out on the cross-country ski trails. My third finger from my left thumb was seriously injured years ago and has always been sensitive to cold weather. The "lobster claw" design bundles this finger with the small outer finger in a mini-mitt that really makes a difference in keeping it warm. I have always found the two fingers furthest from the thumb experience the cold faster than the rest of my hand. This design seems to solve that problem.

They come with a fairly high price, but the workmanship seems solid and the materials are of good quality. The front fabric is tough and waterproof and the fit is tight without being restrictive.

Background

I have gone through a lot of different winter gloves and while I have not yet used these at -20°C (-4°F) yet, from what I have seen so far they should do well at that temperature.
