Fabiano Mountain Master

rated 5.0 of 5 stars

I bought these boots to thru-hike the AT in 1991 but they took too long to break in and they were just too much boot for that trip.

I have used them for backpacking trips of 3 days or less in tough terrain including the Timberline Trail in Oregon, climbing Mt. Hood, Rocky Mountain National Park, Smokies, PCT and others. These are the kind of boot you leave in your will or at size 15 as mine are take them on your boat to use as anchors.

Great boots. They don't make them like these anymore.

Price Paid: In today's money maybe $300 or $400.

ive owned 2 pairs of these boots for the last 25 years and i have no complaints whatsoever these are the boots for me i hope i die in these boots and if i dont ill make sure im burried in them hope they work as good for you
