This GPS unit has a ton of features. And they all are useful. It gets great reception even in the Uinta Forest of Utah. The warm up time is fast and I get great accuracy everywhere I have used it. I would recommend getting the car power adapter, and possibly a remote antennae, and get the car cradle if you don't get the remote antennae that way you can get good reception.
