Garmont Miguasha Nubuck GTX

These shoes are extremely slippery on wet urban surfaces.

Pros

  • Comfort
  • Membrane
  • Nice look

Cons

  • Very slippery
  • Poor safety because of that

Comfortable, with nice working membrane.

But these shoes are extremely slippery after rain! And I am even talking about common urban surfaces like asphalt or tiles in a supermarket. I have never experienced this imbalance walking on wet ground with my previous shoes that were three times cheaper and of a no-name brand.

I have already hit the ground twice using these shoes. Ridiculous.

Background

I used these shoes twice for a day hikes in mountains of 1500 meters; mixed terrain. Works well (it was dry weather).

I am using them on day-to-day life in urban environment during the fall. I need to change this habit as soon as possible.
