Pretty good flavor, but pasta doesn't rehydrate well.
- Easy to make
- Very tasty
- Ingredients are all things you can pronounce
- Pasta doesn't rehydrate very well
I had been looking forward to trying this out on my recent Rainier trip.
Prep is easy... just put boiling water in, stir, and wait twenty minutes. After twenty minutes, I gave it a try. Some of the pasta was still a bit crunchy, so I stirred some more and let it sit another ten minutes. Some of the pasta was STILL a little crunchy. So I stirred some more and waited another ten minutes. By this point, the pasta was mostly "al dente," and I was starved so ate it anyway.
Flavor was very tasty, and it filled me up, and was mostly satisfying.
One of the things that always bothers me about these cook-in-a-bag meals, is the amount of wasted packaging. The result is a LOT of trash to haul out, and it's like a major excavation project to get the food out to eat. With Good 2 Go, there is no wasted packaging. The pouch is exactly the right size.
If they could just get the pasta part right, it would be perfect.
