I searched everywhere for a better down pillow option for this past trip!

I love having a down pillow when camping. It is one of my "must have" luxury items on every trip. I tried the Sea to Summit Aeros Down large pillow, and it was ok, but not the best due to the inflation. Even with it inflated very little I felt like my head just bounced around on it. Then I bought the Hyperlite Fleece lined stuff sack pillow, which I have been using for the past four years now. I do like it a lot (see my review).  I still was searching for a bigger and better down pillow option on the trail. 

I stumbled upon the GooseFeet gear website and I immediately was intrigued. I thought about it for days, then finally pulled the trigger on the Large pillow with 4.5 oz down fill, in the color purple. 

When it arrived, and I opened the package I was blown away at the size and softness. It is pure luxury for backpacking and it does pack down very small. I love the sleeve, I used it for my puffy, which made the pillow even fluffier.

FABRICS

8D – This new material has an amazing next-to-skin feel and is ultra light-weight, but still has a DWR treatment and is 100% downproof! The 8D fabric is great for saving weight for both the liner or shell fabric.

Currently Available in: BLACK, DARK NAVY, OCEAN BLUE, FOREST GREEN, LIME GREEN, PURPLE, BRICK RED, BURNT ORANGE, YELLOW, AND CHARCOAL GRAY.

20D – This nylon is the most durable fabric we offer. It has a DWR treatment applied to the outside surface, so it will allow small amounts of water to bead up and slide right off!

They also have a list of what air pillows fit in each size of the pillow you order. The large Sea to Summit Aeros pillow fits inside my pillow fully inflated, but I do not use the system with that pillow inside of it. I like full down pillow, so my Cotopaxi puffy works awesome inside.
