Hammock Bliss Sky Bed Bug Free
Better than you probably are thinking.
Pros
- Price
- Lay
- YKK zippers
- Sleeve for pad
Cons
- Mine never broke, but it does not look as stout as my Hennessy
- No ridge line
- No tarp
- Not sure it will fit tall people
I have two Warbonnets, one Hennessy, one Therm-a-Rest, and a Hammock Bliss. They all have their pluses and minuses. If you are looking for a camping hammock that is complete and ready to camp in, Hennessy is probably the way to go. The Bliss is going to need a tarp and a ridge line and insulation. But the Bliss has one thing going for it no other hammock on the market has: it is truly asymmetrical.
All the others try to be asymmetrical, which is better than nothing, but this model Bliss actually has a rectangle sewn into the fabric that you lay on. It also has a sleeve for an insulated pad. (Horizontal tubes preferred over lengthwise tubes.)
It really is asymmetrical! Which means....absolutely no calf ridge. IF you hang it correctly. Which means add a ridge line. Then it is easy. Which may make this hammock a serious contender for best camping hammock after you add a ridge line and a tarp and insulation. I prefer a down under quilt but I am spoiled.
