This guidebook is an extension of the original "Heel and Toe; Climbs of Greater Vedauwoo, Wyoming" written by Harper and Kelman, Heel and Toe Publishers ('94). If you can't find a copy of the original, then buy this newer edition. It is very comprehensive, well-organized, covers more route information and is significantly more informative than its current competition.

The content is commendably written in scholarly fashion by someone with literally decades of experience climbing at Vedauwoo. Yes, I've used it extensively - and while there is some arcane content and a few mistakes, this is probably a common hazard of putting something down in black and white in book form rather than on the internet where it can be changed at a whim.

All in all, this is the best guidebook to Vedauwoo on the shelves at this time and worth the cost of buying it.
