Hillary 2 Room Tunnel Tent

rated 4.0 of 5 stars

We bought this tent (it's actually TWO tents that can become connected via a nylon tunnel) about 13 years ago. While we rarely used it in the two-tents connected fashion, the tents themselves are the easiest tents in the world to put up.

It is no more that the 2 cris-crossed poles corner to corner and the rain fly with built-in clips. My 12-year-old daughter took it out and pitched it herself! The floors have worn over the years, but the zippers have never failed and my friends are always amazed at how simple and nice it is!

Design: two dome tents with optional connecting tunnel
Sleeps: 3
Ease of Setup: if you can't do this in 10 minutes, don't go!
Weight: each tent approx 4 pounds
Price Paid: $89

We purchased this 2 dome and tunnel tent 13 years ago at Sears and wish we could find more. We use this tent several times a year and it is super easy to set up. Our 7 to 11 year old Cub Scouts can set this tent up easily. We misplaced the tunnel last year and have looked to buy a replacement. We'd be interested in buying another new or used.

Design: 2 domes with tunnel
Sleeps: 6+
Ease of Setup: Super easy
Weight: less than 10 pounds total
Price Paid: $89

I am very disappointed with this tent. Being someone who loves to take my children camping I could not put this tent up alone. We purchased the tent last spring and the fiberglass poles have already broke this spring.

It's a nice idea and design, but not worth the cost and struggle to assemble.

Design: 2 Room Dome Tunnel Tent
Sleeps: 6+
Ease of Setup: very difficult
Weight: ?
Price Paid: $269.99 CA
