INOV8 Oroc 340

rated 4.5 of 5 stars
photo: INOV8 Oroc 340 trail shoe

I've used this shoe for adventure races and general trail running. They perform amazingly on boggy trails and wet slippery rock due to the deep lugs and tungsten studs.

Pros

  • Super grippy in wet
  • Comfortable fit
  • Hard wearing because of metal studs

Cons

  • Tungsten studs press into foot on hard trails
  • Like running in football boots on tarmac

The fit of the trainer is snug and the lacing system can get them nice and tight. They were comfortable out of the box and supportive around the bottom of the ankle. The traction is amazing on boggy ground and the mesh uppers allow the foot to breath. The metal studs are great off road but make for noisy running on tarmac or hard trails.

I've been using them for two years now on and off and they're holding up really well. 30 degrees in the washing machine and they're like new. If you want a trail shoe for wet conditions you can't go wrong with this one.
