Comfortable, light and built to last, but too bulky. Nice design too. It's like wearing an APC (Armored Pers'l. Carrier). You feel safe in it and the color just makes you think that you're working for the rescue squad. Anyway, between 1 to 10, I'd say it's a 7.5.

Update: August 20, 2010

I really like these shoes. Tough looking and very light.

It's very comfortable to use but soon I discovered its major "weakness". The sole is its greatest downfall. Despite having "vibram" soles -it doesn't live up to its name. It's not solid at all. Some of its major parts (sole) are actually glued and they do fall apart. Either the glue they are using is of very poor quality or they simply have to come up with something really solid.

The Gore-tex is ok but really once the "chemicals" wear of then its get wet inside time. Nothing still beats treated leather.

Bad bad bad! They better address this issue soon!

Materials: Gore-tex
Use: rough trail, tactical
Break-in Period: 1 -2 weeks
Weight: light
