These poles are light and comfortable. The biggest drawback - I did not find the locking element very reliable. Basically the pole collapses whenever more weight is put on it - e.g. when you need it the most.

The locking element is not easy to engage again after it has collapsed. Often I have to disassemble the pole and play with it so that it engages. This is not a good situation to be if you are in the middle of a steep ground and have to jiggle your balance while trying to make the poles work.

Overall I was expecting more from Leki made poles.

Great poles! Light enough without going crazy, comfortable hand grips, good anti-shock, strong and stable. The hand straps even have soft cloth on the inside to prevent chaffing when not using gloves.
