Lowe Alpine Netherworld 70

rated 4.5 of 5 stars

The Netherworld 70 has been discontinued. If you're looking for something new, check out the best expedition packs for 2024.

I liked this pack. It is a solid pack for anyone who is serious about backpacking. It is a good entry level bag but has a few drawbacks. The water bottle containers on the side are impossible to reach without taking off the pack (mainly because when the sleeping bag is stuffed in it fills out that available space. Its hip belts are a little wearing after a while but are tolerable. It does have many good features, the many daisy chanisn and ice axe loops make it easy to store sandals and other missc. stuff to the outside that you may need quickly. Overall it works well, worth the money, but I have recently upgraded to a Gregory.

The best purchase I ever made. Recently i was in the nevado del tolima, Colombia, a hike of 12 hours from 2600 to 5200 meters, and i can say i just don’t feel the weight on my back, it's absolutly comfortable, maybe can be improved making it waterproof.
